On October 7th, 2013, Goldstein Hall sponsored Groundswell’s 17th Annual Art Auction Benefit honoring Denise Scott, LISC NYC; Vincent N. Shiraldi, NYC Commissioner, Department of Probation and the artist Swoon at Christie’s. David Goldstein is the President of Groundswell, a nonprofit organization that combines artists, community organizations and youth throughout New York City to collaborate and use art as a tool for social change by creating unique and powerful murals in neighborhoods while also teaching their youth participants about societal and personal transformation.
