Ingpen, Principal, Strategic Philanthropy Advisors will be speaking at the 2015 Neighborhood Preservation Coalition of New York State (NPCNYC) Conference in Albanyon October 9, 2015 on Nonprofit Governance: Board Development. An understanding of how nonprofit corporations are effectively governed is critical to the success of their missions. The Panel will discuss the importance of having a Functional Board, impediments to a well Functioning Board, why Board Governance Matters and the road to a strong Board.
Jason Labate practices in the areas of not-for-profit law, affordable housing and community development, banking and finance, and general real estate law. Jason represents a wide range of forprofit, not-for-profit and public organizations in various corporate, tax-exemption and real estate matters.
