Nonprofits Join Forces to Preserve Affordable Housing with Guidance from General Counsel, Goldstein Hall

Goldstein Hall is proud to represent the Joint Ownership Entity (JOE NYC), a collorabation of 11 CDCs working together to preserve affordable housing. The Central Brookyn Cluster is a collorabation of 4 of JOE NYC’s members, preserving 87 buildings, totaling 524 units.

“It’s really great having the brain trust and knowledge from all of the other groups. So when we’re looking at doing something, there are thing that we could share. We know how to pick the right tools, the right people, the right subsidy for the projects because it’s a collective,” said Bernell Grier, Executive Director of IMPACCT Brooklyn.
